I prev. gave some instructions using half-dead AA cells in a 6- AA cell series clip w/9V snaps. This one is easier, but needs NEW 1.5 V Alkaline AA cells (to make the nominal voltage required for the LED-4 (A/E-45cents)..... Take a 9V snap, peel off the insulation cover and wires, snap it on the loaded holder; try the leads of the LED, rotate as necess. until you find the position that it flashes. solder in this position. Stand upright in front and back windows of house. Current draw is so small it will flash for many months on a set of alkaline cells. It looks like an "armed" intrusion alarm to a would-be burgular. It costs little to build and run, and may discourage a break-in!
