I bought one of these for use in my camper thinking for the price I couldn't really go wrong. Well, this isn't a big screen plasma so don't expect it to be one. It has built in amplified sound that is Ok as well. I'm probably going to get a few more of these for use around the house as concealed video monitors.

I have purchased 6 of these. They make great cctv monitors. I wouldn't complain about any typos. Target had these for $115.00 in my area. I love All Electronics. I hope you have more of them because I could use some more.

I bought this to use installing cctv systems, but it's come in handy for all kinds of stuff. I just love it! I've looked for something like this for years and this is still the cheapest I've found. The picture can be hard to see in some light, but I'll address that at some point. I'd recommend you get two! It's great in the car!

The box and instructions say that there are seperate color and brightness controls. Mine only has a brightness control. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that there was a typo on the boxes for units made around 2002 and 2003 and that there never was and isn't now a color control. The color is off a little but I'm using this as a monitor for a rear view camera in my truck so it isn't a big deal.

This thing has a very bad persistance problem. I wouldn't use it for gaming, but it works great for what I bought it for (CCTV). I tried it on the gamecube, and the "smear" was so bad I couldn't use it. Also, the previous reviewer is correct about the power button being "backwards". The LCD turns off when you fold it down on top of the gamecube.

I purchased one of these recently for about this same price. I've also seen them for sale for over $100 at Toys 'R' Us, so this is a very good price point.
You can use these to connect directly to the Nintendo GameCube OR you can use the standard RCA input from a VCR/DVD player or other game console.
It has a little round stand on the back that also doubles as a mounting bracket for the GC console.
The picture quality is "fair" and has uneven contrast. For viewing in the dark or up very close it is fine. In room lighting from a few feet away it is difficult to see.
It also has stereo speakers built in. Interestingly, the power button on mine works exactly the opposite of what I'd expect. In is off, out is on. Maybe this was done so that the monitor turns off when it's folded down on top of the game cube.
