Design and change circuits quickly and cleanly. Breadboards accommodate all sizes of dips and discrete components with lead diameters up to 0.032". Interconnect with solid hook-up wire (#22 AWG recommended). Wires and components can be used and re-used many times without damage to board or components. 3260 tie points. 4 terminal strips, 7 buss strips, 4 binding posts mounted on an aluminum back plate 7 7/8" X 8 3/4" X 3/8" high.

Big, works fine for low frequency stuff
It's big. It works fine if the frequency doesn't get to too many kilohertz... after that all the parasitic capacitance you get from all the stray conductors in parallel might cause problems. In my case it was smokin' hot power MOSFETs that stayed on too much because they were driven by a very mushy "square wave". That's just the nature of these things, not any problem with this model in particular. Get some 22-gauge wire and/or the packs of pre-cut jumpers for connecting things together

Functional Breadboard
I used this model of breadboard in college. It worked exactly how I wanted it to for a project where we had to design a MIMO ALU. I would recomend this board for anybody trying to design any kind of DC powered electronic circut.

I got this breadboard a couple weeks ago and have to say: I couldn't be happier with this product. I wired all of the bus strips together and to the terminals so that my circuit can access power and ground from any one of them. This worked great and I would recommend it for efficiency!!
