The magnets and batteries make this a pretty good deal. Two nickel-plated neodymium discs, 0.35" x 0.06" and another non-plated magnet, 0.28" diameter x 0.03". Also, two CX927 button cells (1.5V, 9mm diameter x 3mm). 6 sequentially-flashing red and yellow LEDs in this epoxy encapsulated badge are pretty eye-catching, but may be of limited use.

Magnets only...
I bought 4 of these, thinking that I would use the magnets, batteries, and LEDs. The magnets work great. The batteries in all 4 were nearly dead, and the LEDs cannot be removed from the badge. Cutting the badge and soldering to the traces inside may allow usage of them (with a big chunk of badge still attached), but removing either the front or the back of the badge renders them inoperable. I destroyed two trying to use the LEDs, I'm going to hang on to the other two. Never know when there might be a 2000's retro party, I anticipate more use for them there than for parts...
