3Com HomeConnect camera
This looks like the imager from the 3Com HomeConnect USB camera. As others have mentioned, the processor/USB interface board is missing. Camera image: http://www.amazon.com/3Com-00371800-HomeConnect-Digital-Camera/dp/B00000JDHV
The Sharp datasheet referenced above will tell you how to get it running, but it will take a few bias voltages and a PIC to generate all the required scan waveforms. You end up with a color camera, and NTSC output though...

Not a complete unit...
I recently received ten of these guys thinking I would have a cheap solution for robotic vision systems. Turns out all you're getting is the CCD sensor. There's several other components needed to make this into a working unit. I should've read the ad a little closer.

I bought a few of these but dont know how to use them.
Did anyone found a way to use them in making them into a spycam or something like that? If so I want to have a layout and software for that.
