Good quality Y-splitter for the price
The wire on this appears to be around #20 gauge, but with it's short length (approx 8 inches) it shouldn't be an issue up to 3-4 amps I'm guessing (comes with a 10A fuse in the plug).

Nice Y cable or parts
The plug and jacks and be unscrewed and new cords can be attached to them. I cut one of the jacks off and put battery clips on the short cord so that I can clip the cigarette lighter jack to a car battery.
