For Father's Day I received a complete set of Beethoven's 9 Symphonies, played by the Berlin Philharmonic. I hooked these 'phones up to the output of my TV set, where theCD input is amplified. The result was thrilling! Neodymium drivers DO make a difference, even in such an unsophisticated setup; I recommend these fully.
