Lots of energy in a small package!
These are non-rechargable lithium primary cells often found cameras as the power source for flash units. I found them to be fresh and energetic despite a date code of 1996. I applied them for use in a very small flashlight (3 cells = 9 volts) which I use for ultra bright illumination of small areas in close quarters. I've got about an hour of use on them at 210 ma, and so far - so good! Warning: these CR123A lithium cells are a little LARGER in diameter than regular AA cells! They will not fit in the same space alotted for AAs. Be prepared to widen the cylinder or make other accommodations if you want to use them in place of an AA cell.
