Bright, flexible, easy-to-use LED light strip. Ultra-bright, white surface-mount leds on a flexible, 8mm wide, adhesive backed ribbon. Ideal for accent lighting in auto or home. Also great for under cabinet or shelf lighting. Ribbon strip can be cut every 50mm (approx. 2"). Each 50mm segment consists of three LEDs on 15mm centers and can be lit independently. Each segment has clearly marked solder spots for power connection. Wires can be soldered directly to ribbon tape or, push-on connectors, CAT# CON-121 and CON-122 are available. Sold as a continuous ribbon, up to 5 Meters (100 segments). Priced per 3-led, 50mm segments.
We also have this in "Warm-White," CAT# LS-12-WW and "Cool-White," CAT# LS-12-CW. "Cool-White" is whiter, more like a fluorescent light. "Warm-White" is yellower, more like an incandescent light, and "Neutral-White" is somewhere in between.

Great upgrade idea for power use limiting
I am part of the great outdoor RV community. We have a group that enjoys the GMC Motor Home. In its OEM state, its lighting was mediocre at best. I had replaced my bad lighting a PO had installed with floresent. Good lighting but a power consumption high.
The craze for LED lighting has been coming into our group for some time, especially since some of the campers like to camp in the wild, with only onboard battery power. Some of these campers use solar panels to help regain some of the power used overnight from the batteries.
I installed these strips inside my floresent fixtures with a switch to chose from foresent or LED lighting. Not a bad job to do.
The result was a very similar lighting level from the LED strip compared to the floresent light source but at least half power savings when on the LED lighting. This is very significant when you are on battery power for a few days.
The strips trim and attach easily with the preglued back side, but personally, I found the connector to be useless so I soldered the wire to the strip. I could not get the connector to connect no matter what. Its just a connector, so ?????? How can it be that difficult?
I can think of a great deal of places that this LED light source can be used as a fast easy solution to low voltage lighting and won't get hot like the Halogen lights do and at over half the power use cost. Not a bad project. slc

Bright and useful
Used for under-shelf lighting, good brightness, low power usage. I am powering 10 segments off of a computer and they provide plenty of light for working in the area. The flexibility of the strip could be useful for getting the strip attached to odd-shaped objects too. Color is slightly cool, but not bad, probably in the 3500K range or so.
