For accent lighting on cars, computers, displays of all kinds, this flexible, adhesive backed strip is very bright and easy to use. Ultrabright surface-mount leds are embedded in a clear rubberized strip on 3/4" centers. Bend to fit any shape. 48" strip contains 60 white leds and operates on 290-400 mA @ 12Vdc. Strip is 0.32" wide x 0.10" thick and has 36" color-coded leads.

Excellent!
I cannot agree with the first review. My strip is super bright. So bright, in fact, that I have the strip under the molding edge and it's still bright enough for accent lighting.
To the other reviewer, you may have too much resistance for your strip run. Try using a heavier gauge wire (I ran 10 feet of 18 gauge zip) and connect direct to battery.
I couldn't imagine using two of these -- I'd be blinded!

Very Nice Lights
I used 2 of these lights to install in the bed of my truck. They fit nicely under the lip of the bed, out of sight. I was a little concerned about the adhesive on the back of the strips, but I cleaned the surface with alcohol prior to installation and the glue held over the winter and the spring heat so far. The lights are not extremely bright, but work for my application. I would recommend for accent lighting, not as work lighting.
