1.2 Volt, 2200 mAh AA cell. Nickel metal hydride cells provide double the capacity of standard nickel cadmium cells and can be charged faster. Also, they don't have the "memory" effect associated with nickel cadmium. 0.56" diameter x 1.99" long.

Surprising Quality
I've had these batteries for 2 years and they still work great. I wanted some more and made the mistake of buying some 'Pink Bunny' brand 2500 mAhs...they are worthless after a few months. The only problem is that a friend borrowed my MP3 player and threw away a couple of them because they look like el-cheapo alkalines

Amazing Improvement over Old NiCd Technology...
Many years ago, I had a few "D" size NiCd batteries for my flashlights. Each of these very large batteries had a capacity of only 1200 mah (1.2 Ah) Now we have NiMH AA battery cells with much more than that capacity, and NiMH cells have no memory effect characteristics, or disposal problems to plague their owners after they've died. A/E has offered all of this great stuff at value prices. The next purchase for me will prob. be the BC-21 smart charger to treat my NiMH cells right.

Greater Capacity than Alkalines!
Good Double A Alkalines contain around 2000Mah of current capacity. (see Procell AA battery-PRC1500), but these have even more. Plus, you can recharge them whenever you think the power's gone down without fear of introducing the dreaded "memory effect" which stifles the usefulness of NiCd cells.

Great Batteries
I have used many NIMH batteries, but by far these were the best. I use them in my digital camera and they last longer than any other rechargable out there! Also do not for get the price! this is by far the lowest price any one will find on a 2200 MAH!!
