Watch out for common ground
This is an excellent meter- the digits are large and bright and very readible. However, the use of a "common ground" means that the negative of the 5V power input is tied to the minus input that the meter measures. This limits design flexibility, particularly if you want to use the meter to measure current in various sub-domains of your design using shunt resistors while using a common (rather than floating) source of power to the meter.

Segments failing on one unit
Using two of these in a bench power supply. One is still Ok 8 years later. The other developed dead segments a few years ago. This power supply is rarely used, and very well ventilated so I don't consider these voltmeters very good. This is the first item from All Electronics that has failed. Will be buying from AllCorp again, but not these voltmeters.

hook up sheet?
I bought this one a while ago, and lost the piece of paper that came with it. Anyone has the info on how to hook this up please? It has 10 pins on the back.
