Strong vacuum!
These are actually piston pumps optimized for vacuum service. The piston has a rubber seal lip that is arranged to seal against vacuum instead of pressure. There is no separate connecting rod so the piston rocks slightly in the cylinder. The "rod" is long enough that the seal can accommodate the rocking of the piston during the cycle. The pumps have been used but not much -- probably removed from new or "near new" equipment. The valves are rubber "flaps" that seal against seats. Mine pulled 23" Hg @ 12V, 4.5A.

Nifty vacuum pump
Draws a fine vacuum and hard to beat the price. Will not pump up tires or inflate puffer fish. Not useful for your penis pump either, James. However if you need to draw a vacuum and do not want to spend a lot of money then this is the way to go.

Great product
Vacuum is great. Mine pulled 22 inch of mercury within 1 second. I disconnected the battery and the vacuum held. GREAT GREAT GREAT!

It sucks......real good.
My test results:
Pulled 20 inches of vacuum and drew about 2 amps.
Made 40 PSI of pressure and drew about 4.5 amps.
Is is listed as being used but there are no signs of it being installed on anything. Also, I did an interweb search and found these pumps are being used to create vacuum for power brake boosters on cars being converted to electric motors.

Not For Pumping Up Tires
-----In a personal E-Mail, All Electronics told me this air pump can NOT be used for inflating any tire. ---Jim WB5BYK
