Efficient but delayed start
Just purchased two of these supplies to power 12v recessed LED lighting. The supply is quite efficient but doesn't work well for this particular application. When the mains are switched on the supply takes anywhere from 2.5 to 5.5 seconds to start the 12V output. For a home lighting situation this just doesn't cut it. It's quite disconcerting when you flip the switch then wait in darkness for a somewhat random time for the lights to actually come on.
