Socket mount relay!!!
I wanted to build a new project with about 40-100 relays, where one relay fires the next relay and continues around, like a clock. I would have a small light bulb connected to a pole. On the NO position, power is applied...
It's not the price of the relay, that has delayed me! Actually, they are pretty cheap at 100!! ha ha ha
It was the idea of cutting out holes for all those square relay sockets or the big expense of 40-100 octal sockets!! Ugh! Yikes!! I keep looking for a 12V relay with at least DPDT and easy to install! I FOUND IT! I'll just install them on a pc or perf board and mount it with short stand-offs! With 16 pin sockets for this relay, it will be easy!!! AE, you solved my problem!! Thanks! KD5BIH

Be careful of this one - I have purchased more than 100 of these and I have a 5% bad new part failure rate - several coils are 2.5K instead of 750 ohms. also 2 had good coils, but would not switch when activated. - you must test these parts before soldering in place.
