Great Product
I installed this product on my bycyle. Since Installing it I had no problems with cars drive dangerously around me. The only down fall is that I got pulled over by the cops cause they didn't know what it was.

Great for bicycle tailight
I've been using these for over 7000 miles so far bicycle commuting and have worn a few out so consider buying two initially. I've also had the capacitor become loose. You can open the light by carefully using a sharp Exacto knife and re-flow the soldier if you're handy (and cheap like me). But after a while the components just burn up and you'll have to replace. Before you install on the bike wrap some electrical tape around the filter where it joins the base. With one flasher water go into it and ruined it after only 500 miles. These are way more effective than standard bike blinkers, you really get motorists attention. They are too bright to use if you ride with friends. I use a 12 volt lead acid battery (now 2 years old) UB1213 stuffed in a water bottle with judco switch and a 10 amp fuse. Have fun and ride
safe.

works great on atv snowplow
I have had put this strobe on several atv snowplow vehicles over the past several years , they are reliable and maintence free, some of the atv's are used for trail riding in the summer and with all that bouncing and rough terain, I still haven't had to replace a unit or a bulb!

Nice light... BUT.....
Don't do like I did and fail to look at the physical size of these. These aren't the "standard" alarm-style strobe. They are VERY compact/small. About 1/2 the standard size.

Works like a charm and getting respect from motori
I've bought two Xenon flashers and installed on my commuter bicycle over 3 years ago, after reading about them in http://nordicgroup.us/s78/ site, (I highly recommended this site if you plan to make your own bicycle lightning system!) Beforehand I used the low quality LED flashers, that were going bad after a year or two.
I commute 3 times a week about 50 miles/round trip and use the flashers during day and night. No problems since I've mounted them on my rear rack using a bent aluminum bracket and the hardware supplied. I Use old NiCad battery from my old NightSun lightning system. My front light is home made HID, 10 Watts, and uses separate battery.
