IDTECH® Omni™ Model WCR3227-512. Heavy-duty slot reader reads up to three tracks of magnetic information with a single swipe in either direction as well as most bar code symbologies, both visible or infrared. It has a beeper and three-color LED indicator to signal a successful read. The reader is programmable so that the data format and intelligent interface output can be programmed & configured to match application communication requirements.
Designed for demanding applications such as access control or self-service kiosks. Its die-cast metal base, stainless steel wearplate and impact-resistant housing make it ideal for stand-alone high-volume traffic. Can be securely mounted with screws, and cable exits are avaliable at the side end or bottom of the unit.
Interfaces TTL (TTL barcode and/or magnetics clock and data), keyboard wedge, Standard SIA 26-bit Wiegand, RS-232,USB/KB, USB/RS-232. Equipped with DB-9, female connector.
The Omni can be programmed to divide, rearrange, edit and validate fields of scanned data. In addition it allows for up to 16 preamble or postamble characters. Data editing for the Weigand interface can be programmed with an optional RS-232 adaptor cable. Includes wall plug-in power supply and instructions.
