In the comments section for the 1N914 Diode, there is an excellent spec comparison between it and the 1N4148. I was wondering if the gentleman who provided that feedback would mind adding the 1N916 to the fray? P.S.: I am using one, each, of these diodes in a 12.6v automotive application, to suppress voltage spikes created at relay coil / voltage collapse sites. You know, to keep downstream (or upstream) computers from going postal. -- Dave, in a cave.

These diodes are very similar. The 1n916 has a capacitance of 2 pf vs 4 pf for the 1n4148 and 1n914, making it better for high speed applications.
