It strips and holds up to heat as good as any PVC Wire I have used.
It took 60/40 solder (Tinned) Well unlike a lot of the cheap wire, you know the stuff that takes loads of flux and heat to tin.
I did have some insulation withdraw (up to 20% of original strip length) if I left a 550° F Iron on it for 10 seconds, but this is common with PVC insulation and I have seen much worse.
I have been spoiled by using 200°C wire at work but it’s very pricey this will do nicely for me at home!
It is well labeled both on the Wire itself and the spool.
