The sleeve post on these are fine, but the center post has no hole, and solder just doesn't want to stick to the metal. I made 4 cables using these, and had to repair three of them shortly after putting the cable together. Not ideal for hobbyist applications.

I order these 150 at a time. Although the center conductive is harder to solder, if you give an extra 1-2 seconds of heat to the center connector they will accept solder.
I have good success with all but one or two. (Just a little extra heat required)
