Three piece connectors are very well made, and easy to install with a 0.255 hex crimper and 0.068" for the center conductor. A coax stripping tool makes it easier to prep the cable, so it'd be worth getting one a large number of connectors need to be done.
After stripping, slide the ferrule over the cable jacket, then crimp the center tip on.
Flexing the center insulator in a circular fashion will open up the braid to allow easy insertion of the connector under the braid. Push it all the way until the center tip locks in with an audible click; tug to check retention-
Then slide the ferrule to the connector stop, and crimp with the hex crimper, and it's done.
Much better than the connectors that simply slide in and use the coax conductor to make the connection directly.
