Good little set up with a DC powered camera, but AC may cause some interference, without a filter. Old used NTSC black & white video cameras may have poor resolution, but they work great with infrared lighting, and low light conditions, so they will let you know someone is out there. Low resolution means less chance of prosecution, so take that into account! A jury had to identify the accused! HD cameras are going way down in price, so invest on those and a good high capacity hard drive for video storage. Add a motion sensor light, design your camera array so the cameras cover one another, and you should have a really good system! If some sleaze tried to steal a camera, let another make a video of it. Then you can have him arrested for stealing the camera, before he comes back later, for the good stuff. An RCA to BNC adapter should work nicely. These also work for other stuff too! I have heard RCA jacks had less loss than BNCs for some ham radio applications too. Use the power wires for a transmit/receive cutout relay on a loop antenna! I did, and that loop will really pull in the signals, & do it very selectively too, so I only get the signal I want. When I go to transmit a relay cuts out the antenna, so I don't fry it, or wind up with feedback.
