3 pins. 0.1" spacing. Nylon connectors and mating pc mount, snap-lock header. Female socket connector is pre-wired with 11" long color-coded 22 AWG stranded wire.

I use these for To-220 sockets. If you are building an project that uses a voltage regulator or medium power transistor, these make great quick connect/disconnect sockets.

Very Convenient, All Features of Molex KK .1" Series

This combination prewired/crimp terminated header and connector are very convenient as I didn't have to mess with crimping the contacts or finding matching connector pairs.
Note that connectors are very similar, but slightly different than the Molex KK series .1" vertical locking headers and receptacles I've used on several designs.
(These receptacles did not fit exactly on the Molex header-had to replace the Molex with the matching one from this pair).

this is the set up of choice to build your programing port for the PICAXE line up of progamable interupt controllers. All you need is this and a 9 pin Dsub female conn and housing. A good value.
