Using this for poor man's version of PoE, but with 48V on additional wires for a RS485 network running small ATMega Microcontrollers and sensors.
From datasheet:
Vin is 36-72V, connect a 10uF cap across input.
Output is 3.3V, connect a 1uF cap across output.
To enable, connect CNT to Vin-.
Switching is around 8 MHz and output noise is reasonable. Reduced if you include the recommended 1uF cap.
