Yes these cost more than the 99c specials you can find elsewhere but these are high quality switching jacks made of metal. It is a case of you get what you pay for. These look to be Alectron ZC-2550A jacks in which case it is definitely a good deal here at AEC.

This unit was $0.85 per at 100 units $85, Now it is $1.70 per at 100 units $170. That is more than Radio Shack charges in quanity. Someone needs a reality check. EDITORS NOTE: You would not beleive the price increases we are receiving from vendors. Anything containing copper and other raw materials has doubled in the last few months.

Fits a 5/16" hole. Absolute maximum panel thickness 5/32" with the lock washer removed. 5/8" long not including leads. Accepts a 5.5mm outside diameter barrel connector.
