Well-engineered product protects inlet wire from kinking and breaking @ end. Plast. collar twists off and back on after wire ends have been secured w/ solder joints, fairly easy as the solder points are reas. large and obvious as which is - and+;great to set up PS-1637 into a usable PS. Price is much less than other suppliers. A/E has many other adapters for DCSID.

Barrel types may be different.

Be aware that the plugs you order may not be the one in the photo. The first time I ordered these, they were as depicted, with the shorter barrel. The second time they had a longer barrel. I emailed AE and they said the could not guarantee what type is shipped because they are a surplus outlet.
