That should tell you everything.
Once I received it I figured out this is a model 6272-A - which is at least a 7 year old model - and it shows. It's so dim with the included CR123-A battery I actually checked the battery voltage. Nebo says the output is a whopping 360 lux at it's highest setting. Emitters have come a long way since this thing was created.
Can you use a higher voltage 16340 rechargeable battery instead? That's a risk because Nebo won't tell you and they provide no info at all about the emitter used so you can't determine it.
The light output is "fuzzy" looking. It never really focuses at any distance. The emitter produces a blue tinged light which is haloed in yellow from the cheap plastic lens. It's the worst I have ever seen, even among more modern (and a lot less expensive) LED flashlights.
Whatever you do don't drop it. Reviews out there say this often means the death of this one.
For the price I paid I expected a much better quality flashlight. I'm not one for returning functional items but if I keep it I'll never use it.
