I don't know why AE doesn't do this with a variable transformer, but forward voltage is 2.5v @ 20 ma. Very bright and nicely diffused.

OK, Old inefficient LED.
22.5 mA @ 2.2V
17.3 mA @ 2.1V
12.6 mA @ 2.0V
7.6 mA @ 1.9V
Really needs at least 15 mA to get decent brightness.
