Was 2 for $1.00 NOW 4 for $1.00. Six red LED chips under a clear plexiglass dome. Dome is 19.5mm diameter x 11mm high. Dome sits on a 23mm diameter x 3mm high base. Each led chip has two leads and requires an appropriate dropping resistor to operate on any voltage over 2.7 Volts.

According to the data sheet these should be a very deep red. I have tried two of the ones I received and they both glow an orange-red color. They do have the wide viewing angle described and are plenty bright for uses like a bike tail light. I was hoping for a true deep red of 650-660nm as the datasheet claims.
