Impressive 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Phoenix, AZ USA

Bright enough at 2V or so, yes, but I think 3V is operational - here the brightness is impressive [Green, ≈3mA; Red, ≈9mA].
Buy a bunch, put several in parallel, give 'em a few minutes to stray → captivating.

Exactly as described 5 out of 5 stars

Hooked a few up to a CR2032 battery and they were very bright (will need resistor to limit current). As another commenter pointed out they stray apart which is perfect for my needs.

Nice little LED 4 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Lakewood, CA

Minimum voltage needed for operation is 2.2V at about 10mA. Much below that and the green LED is not illuminating. At 2.6V, 10mA, the colors are bright. It got brighter as voltage increased, but I did not want to try higher. Long lead is +.
