NOT like hard-drive mags: N and S on opposite sides

Curved "hard-drive magnets" usually have their N and S poles on the same flat side. These don't, they have one pole on each face, so they're much more useful.
Buy ten and stack them to form one large magnet. Useful in simple generator project for science fairs, wind-power demos, etc. Stick them all over your bicycle rim, so they can drive an iron-core solenoid coil.

Polarity of Magnets
Reviewer: Broadway LION

I had not noticed an issue with the polarity of these magnets, for my application this is irrelevant. I think that they ARE from hard drives, but packing them in stacks such as they do will have shifted the poles to the faces rather than to the ends. As long as you are not building a hard drive from scratch... : )
