As described, a strong magnet about 1-3/16" x 5/8" x 3/16", good for custom tool holders and other magnetic projects. I got a hundred of these which came in three stacks without separators.
Regarding getting the individual magnets apart, it is difficult, yes, but not impossible. It takes really strong hands and fingers to actually slide one off the top of a stack of these, presuming you've got enough to hold onto. An easier way would be to hold the stack (no matter how many) upright in a vise with only the top magnet protruding above the jaws, and then use a small wood block and hammer to slide the top magnet off the stack (never hammer directly on a neodymium supermagnet--they're brittle and you'll have Two magnets stuck to your hammer head instead of just one). Of course unless the vise has plastic jaws, the magnets will stick to the vise and so won't fly off, making separating each one fairly easy.
I ordered ten and have only been able to separate them by curing epoxy onto metal brackets. Not happy the work involved, but they are very strong! If AE has an ability to break them one by one, I would like to see spacers. Anyhow, you must use metal epoxy to mount to metal surface. No other substrate nor adhesive works. Use caution handling, and of course keep these and all hi-power magnets out of reach of children!
