The TCRT5000 is a photoelectric switch consisting of an infrared emitter and phototransistor in a package mounted on a PC board. 3-pin configuration ideal for use with Arduino / RaspberryPi microcontrollers. The emitting-light source and the detector are arranged in the same direction to sense the presence of an object using the reflective IR beam from the object. The operating wavelength is 950 mm.
