Single-pole, normally-open momentary switch. Attractive and functional dome-shaped pushbutton. 0.70" diameter black plastic bezel. 0.45" red plunger. Extends 0.3" above mounting plane. Threaded bushing mounts in 0.53" diameter hole. Solder terminals. Also available with a black button (PB-139), green button (PB-172G), blue button (PB-172B) and yellow button (PB-172Y).
The tactile feedback is a nice feature due to a rubber gasket much like a keyboard. The switch itself is a simple plate that presses down against the two soldering posts, so don't plan on any big amp rating for this one. Also, take care when soldering or you'll melt the housing around the soldering pins which, as mentioned, are also the internal contacts for the switch. This is not a problem for experienced solderers (is that a word?) but the novice can easily destroy this switch if not supervised.

Really nice button... but what's the amp rating?

I love this button - it feels great - very positive push action with a snappy spring back to the off position. As someone else mentioned... what's the amp rating ? We need electrical spec... Thanks.
