Product Description
A very useful, not to mention economical, kit including an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller and a large selection of devices you will want for a number of projects using the Arduino micro controller. Includes an expansion board, extra breadboards, motors, motor drivers, a relay board, a remote control keypad, joystick, LCD, LED displays, LEDs, jumpers, headers, sensors, switches, pots, battery holder and more. All of this packaged in a well organized, divided plastic case. You can't go wrong with this. These items purchased separately would be considerably more.

Looks great, but no documentation

Reviewer: from Hilo, Hawaii, U.S.

No web link or paper documentation accompanied the package I received from All Electronics, but it looks like the contents are identical to the Elegoo package described at https://tinyurl.com/rxc9ktl and offered at a much higher price. So I went to that page and downloaded their documentation from https://tinyurl.com/vo4gv2a

Be Prepared for Homework

Reviewer: from Talbott, East Tennessee

This kit is amazing for the price. It includes a large variety of high quality electrical components. I was impressed with the contents. There are components for building logic relays, timers, sensors, digital displays, etc. Input devices include a key pad, remote control, and a joystick. The components alone are worth more than the cost of the kit. That said, be prepared to do your homework. There is no documentation in the kit, and the Arduino website, while a vast resource of information, can be difficult to navigate. The centerpiece of the kit is the UNO board. I recommend buying a case, https://www.allelectronics.com/index.php?page=seek&id%5Bm%5D=pattern&id%5Bq%5D=uno+case.

The UNO is programmed through an Arduino app. You can access the app online, but I chose to download it to my laptop. The app installation was straightforward and I had it running in no time. The app has well-documented coding examples stored in a library. They can be modified, compiled and loaded to the UNO through a USB. In one day, I was able to program the UNO to blink an LED a different rates, blink a series of LEDs in order, detect a push button closure, and screen print the relative position of a potentiometer on a scale of 0 to 1023 (0=off and 1023=5 vdc).

The Arduino website: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/BuiltInExamples is invaluable for setting up and understanding the examples in the app. Five stars for price and variety of contents of this kit, but four stars for lack of any documentation.
