Using a piezo element module with Arduino 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from near Philadelphia, PA

This is a nice module that manages output from the piezo sensor. The stranded lead wires are so fine that it's better to solder some solid wires to them before attaching them to the screw terminal. (protect the connections with heat shrinkable tubing.) These elements produce both negative and positive voltages, which can be very small in some "vibration" applications. Rather than connect the output directly to an Arduino analog input pin (which isn't supposed to see negative voltages), use an ADS1115 or 1015 programmable A/D module.
